Vision

Abolition Science is an anti-colonial project that envisions a science and math delinked from racial capitalism, imperialism, and oppression - a science and math that serves all people.  

Mission

  • to undermine the racial capitalist logics of Western Science & Math that necessitate the continued exploitation and violence against land and BIPOC (Black, Indigenous, People of Color)
     
  • imagine and shape alternative math and science futures
     
  • build a collective community to shape a vision for liberation

  • historicize science and math to understand how it operates in the present

  • be a resource for places of teaching and learning
